Kyra Senese, Managing Editor

Kyra Senese has joined Railway Track & Structures as managing editor, reporting to Mischa Wanek-Libman, RT&S editor.

An Illinois native, Kyra is a May 2016 alumna of Columbia College Chicago, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with a magazine writing concentration. She initially joined RT&S as assistant editor in August 2016. Kyra previously worked as a research assistant with Advertising Age. Her journalism career began at Columbia’s student-run newspaper, The Columbia Chronicle, where she worked her way up to become editor-in-chief.

NCRR, High Point partner on rail improvements

The North Carolina Railroad Company (NCRR) and the city of High Point, N.C., are tackling $5.1 million in improvements to the railroad corridor and drainage in the city's downtown.

Wabtec to supply PTC system to SunRail

Wabtec Corporation has signed a contract valued at about $62 million to implement its positive train control (PTC) technology along the Central Florida Rail Corridor (CFRC), the operator for the SunRail commuter line.
